Those wishing to experience the spirit of days gone by can set sail on the historic sailing ship “Dreverna”—a true legend of coastal shipping, inviting you to immerse yourself in the history of wind and waves. Did you know that the “Dreverna” was built in 2014 based on a model by the famous shipbuilder Jonas Gižas and the blueprints from the book *Der Kurische Reisekahn MARIA*? Residents of the old fishing villages built such boats to transport goods from Klaipėda and Tilsit to Königsberg and back. In 1823, Klaipėda shipowners owned seven such vessels. By 1874, there were about 600 boats of this type sailing in East Prussia. These vessels transported construction materials, salt, grain, and other cargo along the Nemunas, the Prieglius, the Curonian Lagoon, and the Aistmarės, reaching as far as Vysla and Danzig. Passengers could also be transported on these vessels.
Active recreation enthusiasts can try out water bikes, paddleboards, or other water activities that delight both young and old.
At the Dreverna Camping Resort and Entertainment Complex, you'll find everything you need for a perfect vacation: outdoor and indoor pools, saunas, relaxation areas, and fun activities for the whole family.
