Lake Plazė is a lake of glacial origin that formed approximately 10,000 years ago on the Baltic Ice Lake. On a clear day, from the shore of the lake, you can see the Baltic Sea softly rippling on the horizon. During the bird migration in autumn and spring, a variety of birds can be seen and heard there. As Lake Plazė is a resting place for migrating birds, a birdwatching house has been built there for the convenience of visitors to the regional park, allowing them to observe birds comfortably even when it is raining.
