After the reconstruction, J. Gižas ethnographic fisherman's farmstead was adapted to a museum and a Tourism Information Centre. The museum exposition “Jonas Gižas. Opening the shipbuilder’s toolbox...” presents Jonas Gižas, the ship worker from Dreverna, everyday life of the Curonian Lagoon sailboats, weathervanes, coastal residents and their customs. At the museum, you can try out a variety of shipbuilding tools or make a unique weathervane. The farmstead also hosts educational programmes as part of the Cultural Passport service package.
