The Ablinga Memorial was established at the foot of the Žvaginiai Hillfort in 1972. The memorial consists of an ensemble of 30 oak sculptures dedicated to the memory of the residents of the villages of Ablinga and Žvaginiai who were shot by the Nazis on 23 June 1941. It is the first collectively created ensemble of monumental folk sculptures in Lithuania, signifying the love of life and hatred of coercion.
