4 Waters Land for Children

BABYLON SODAI - a park combining amazing plants and miniature architectural wonders of the world. The Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, the Colosseum in Rome - these are just a few of the world's most famous landmarks that you will see in this park. Each of them has a sign indicating the country where the original was built and what makes it special. Here you will find cultural objects from five continents: Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia, and North America.

As you walk through the park, you will not only be able to admire the park's miniatures, waterfalls, and fountains, and listen to music characteristic of each region of the world, but also admire the wonderful garden plants. The park is full of precisely shaped topiaries and flower arrangements, and the garden has a million flowers from Lithuania and Poland. This abundance of vegetation gives the Gardens of Babylon the status of the largest flower park in Lithuania!


The alpaca farm is cosily located in the middle of forests, in a natural haven, and anyone interested in alpacas has a unique opportunity to get to know them better. The farm offers educational activities, birthday parties and private photo shoots. Photo shoots can take place in the alpaca pens, as well as in the forest or meadow. 

Everyone who visits the farm can spend time in the leisure area. There are various swings, wooden playgrounds for children, and places to relax. Children will always find something interesting to do after meeting the alpacas!


The Dinosaur Park is situated in Radailiai Manor territory – a location, surrounded by wonderful nature, just 7 km from Klaipėda. The Dinosaur Park will give you an opportunity to see dinosaurs which went extinct 65 million years ago. This picturesque area and the park surrounded by nature are “home” to more than 40 life-size hissing, water-spitting and roaring dinosaurs. Herein, you will also find an extreme 5D cinema, labyrinth of mirrors, energetic Dino labyrinth, water balls, electric cars, carousels and more. And if you want to experience life upside down, stop by the Upside-Down House, where the daily routine will rediscover the world around you and have an unforgettable experience!


This unique taxidermy museum is unlike any other in all of Lithuania and even Eastern Europe! It will surprise you with the sheer abundance and diversity of exhibits. Here you will see elephants and giraffes of impressive size, lions, zebras, rhinos, monkeys, various birds and many other exotic animals. If you want to feel Africa at the seaside, hurry up your friends and try a safari in Karklė, which will impress anybody. During the safari tour, you will have the opportunity to hand-feed the fallow deer, red deer, Père David's deer and even a moose named Love.


 

Vinetu Village is an open-air museum of living Indian history. Are you an Indian enthusiast? Then you will definitely enjoy the Young Wolves Camp organized in Vinetu Village in the summer! This educational adventure camp will provide you with many new impressions and experiences. You will learn about the colorful and rich world of Native Americans, their history, and culture. You will live in real Native American tents - teepees. You will feel nature and its rhythm. You will learn the art of Native American tracking, learn how to make Native American dream catchers, mandalas, and amulets, learn their meaning, and make your own weapons: spears, bows, and arrows. You will also go kayaking and canoeing, learn to ride horses and get to know them. You will learn many Indian tricks, learn various games, and spend your evenings with Indian drums, songs, and dances around the campfire.


The Dovilai quarries are a great place to spend leisure time in all seasons. The quarries are very easy to reach from Gargždai or Dovili, not only by car, but also by bike. The quarry has a pontoon, benches, a children's play area and a gymnastics complex. If you want to take a walk and breathe in the fresh air, you can do so in the nearby pine forest. The Dovilai quarries are a popular bathing spot. You can take a ride on a pedalo here.


Gargždai Minija Cinema, the most modern cinema in Lithuania, is a popular leisure destination for the residents of Klaipėda district and surrounding towns and cities. The cinema's repertoire always includes an animated film or a film for the whole family, while 2D and 3D video effects, a surround-sound system and chairs with a vibro plate allow you to enjoy your time in the cinema. The cinema also has a photo and film equipment exhibition "Kino kelias" and a café "Dessert House".


Just a 5-minute drive from the centre of Gargždai is the newly opened Adventure Park. The park currently has four climbing routes, paintballing and gazebo rental. Everyone is welcome to have fun and be active here.


Winter is the time of year when the Utrių kalnas ski slope awaits winter fun lovers. Utrių kalnas has two blue and red slopes, two lifts and a small snowpark for snowboarders. Families with children are welcome on the mountain, and there is a free toboggan run for the little ones. There is also ski hire for children, a beginner's slope and ski instructor services.


One of the attractions that can be enjoyed all year round is the swimming pool! Children and their parents are always welcome at the Gargždų pramogos leisure complex, Dreverna Port, Radailių Manor swimming pool, and Gargždai Multifunctional Sports Center.

 

 

 


If you can't live a day without horses and your room is covered with pictures of horses and riders, visit S. Baniulis' farm! Professional trainers are waiting for you here. You will learn the subtleties of riding, get practical experience in horse care, and learn how to saddle and take care of a horse or pony. 


Paintball is a recreational sporting game with no requirements or restrictions for players. It can be played by men, women and children! The bigger the teams, the bigger the field of play. The most important thing is to complete the game's objective - try to kill your enemies or capture the flag. Surprise, suspense and great emotions - guaranteed!


Feel like visiting the famous brothers’ R. and M. Schumacher racetrack and see the largest go-cart track in all of Samogitia! Test your strength on a 260-300 meter long open track with pits, with a total track area of ​​up to 1800 m2, and feel like a Formula 1 racer.


Do you know how to swim, are you not afraid of the water, and are not intimidated by extreme sensations and adrenaline? Then you can experience it all on the water at a wakeboard park. It's like a bridge between water skiing, where you need a boat, and surfing, where the wind is the driving force. Thanks to its simplicity and ease of use, it is a sport that is gaining popularity in Lithuania and that everyone can and should try!

The museum was founded in 1991 and operates in the restored homestead of S. Darius’ parents. Expositions are set both in the living house and the barn. A symbolic granitic compass on the ground has been exhibited in the Memorial Park since 2007. From the accurate azimuth of its centre the trees are planted, which mark the main directions towards St. Darius’ places of residence. The compass was designed on the prototype of the former compass, which was on the plane “Lituanica”.


The museum acquaints visitors with the history of Klaipėda district and Gargždai town using modern and visually attractive means. The playful exposition “Interwar Gargždai 1918–1939” invites visitors to learn about the border town during the interwar period. You will find out what the people of Gargždai did for living, what holidays they celebrated and what smuggled goods they carried across the border. You will see other moments from the town life. The museum is also engaged in the dissemination of professional art, presents works of artists from various fields of art.

The centre presents educational programmes of more than fifteen different crafts: puppet making, weaving, wood carving, knitting, ceramics, leather goods, bread baking, wicker weaving, etc. Each programme is suitable for people of different ages.


Come and have fun and celebrate holidays at the tire sliding tracks located on Utrių Hill! Sliding down the tire tracks, you will not only experience adrenaline and excitement, but also enjoy the breathtaking view of the Minija River valley from Utrių Hill.


Starting in the spring of 2025, the Rimgaila deer farm will begin offering new activities that will allow visitors to get to know the deer better and experience the benefits they provide:

  • Educational programs – visitors will be able to feed the deer by hand, learn about their biology, antler growth, social behavior, and their importance to the ecosystem. The educational programs are designed for both children and adults.
  • Deer therapy – being around deer, observing them, and feeding them helps reduce stress, restore inner peace, and relax. Therapy sessions are organized for individual visitors or small groups, ensuring a personal and peaceful experience.
  • Elk products – starting in the spring of 2025, the farm will begin offering high-quality elk products, including fresh meat, dried products, and natural dog treats.

 


Viking Park is a space dedicated to the Viking era: it features the Viking Grill restaurant, the Drakaras ship, a children's playground, a horse farm, and a reconstructed 12th-century Old Curonian farmstead in Kunkių near Karklė. You can stay overnight at the Kuren hostel.

In the park, you will learn about the history of the most powerful and wealthy Baltic tribe, the Curonians, shrouded in legends, and see with your own eyes how they lived in the Middle Ages: what they did, how they worked, fought, and entertained themselves. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to shoot a bow and arrow, throw an axe at a target, visit an exhibition of Curonian textiles and weapons, get a personalized answer to a question that interests you from the runes, forge a coin or pendant with a Viking compass with your own hands, receive a Curonian passport, and enjoy a delicious meal of four types of grilled meat dishes inspired by Viking history.


This is a great place for families with children to spend quality time and enjoy the company of animals. Ponies, sheep, crested ducks, royal pigeons, corgis, and about 60 breeds of rabbits roam freely on the well-kept 3-hectare grounds. The animals, especially the ponies, are friendly and always welcome visitors. You can feed and pet them, and if you really want to, you can even hold some of them.
