Lake Tāši is shallow and heavily overgrown. The lake is surrounded by wet and
shrub-filled meadows. During spring migration, northern swans and geese gather at
the lake. The lake is a nesting site for black terns, Eurasian bitterns, greylag geese,
Savi's warblers, and other bird species. An interesting natural feature of the lake is its
floating islands. A viewing platform is located by the lake.
