Address:

The Vanagai village ethnographic cemetery still functions as the cemetery of the Vanagai parish. Many prominent personalities of Lithuania Minor are buried there: Kristupas Lokys, a priest, who before his appointment to serve in Vanagai, worked in missions in India – as a priest of the Vanagai parish, he took care of the publishing of Lithuanian books and newspapers and was one of the founders of the Sandora diaconia; Emil Bleiweiss, the priest at the Vanagai parish and the builder of the church, who taught and mentored the writer I. Simonaitytė, whom he baptised in the Vanagai Evangelical Lutheran Church; Jurgis Sprogys; Ernstas Roga; Jurgis Arnašius, a social activist; and relatives of Ieva Simonaitytė. Traditional old graves of Lithuania Minor – krikštai are also preserved in the cemetery.
