If you visit Gargždai and walk along the pedestrian alley on Klaipėda Street, be sure to ‘shake a paw’ with the dog who has become the guardian of Gargždai.
This sculpture of the dog is a gift to the town of Gargžda on the occasion of the 765th anniversary.
The creators of the 60-centimetre bronze sculpture of a dog to the town are Klaipėda residents: Saulius Druskis (architect) and Sergejus Plotnikovas (sculptor).
