The Priekulė Evangelical Lutheran Church was built and solemnly consecrated in 1903. 7,000 marks were spent on construction, and a harmonium was bought with funds raised from public and private sources. Before the opening of the Catholic Church in Priekulė, the Evangelical Lutheran Church also served as a venue for Catholic services. After the war, following the demolition of the old church, the new church started functioning in this house in 1957.
