The Klaipėda District Ethnic Culture Centre is located in the centre of the town of Dovili, in one of the few remaining old buildings. Cultural activities started here already in the interwar period: plays, dance evenings and afternoons were staged here. During the Soviet era, a cultural centre was established, which continued to exist after the restoration of independence. Since 1 February 2005, the House of Culture has become the Klaipėda District Ethnic Culture Centre. In 2012, the Klaipėda District Ethnic Culture Centre was awarded the first category of accreditation and categories by the Commission for Accreditation and Categorisation of Cultural Centres and their Branches approved by the Klaipėda District Municipal Council.
The Klaipėda District Ethnic Culture Centre carries out various activities: excursions, education, exhibitions, meetings, etc.
