The museum introduces visitors to the history of the Klaipėda region and the town of Gargždai using modern and visually attractive means. The playful exposition – Interwar Gargždai 1918–1939 – invites visitors to get to know the realities of the border town in the interwar period. You will find out what the people of Gargždai did, what holidays they celebrated and what kind of contraband goods were transported across the border. You will also be able to familiarise yourself with other aspects of the town's life. On top of that, the museum is engaged in the dissemination of professional art, presenting the work of artists from various fields.
