The old cemetery is situated on a small hill, reachable via a path that circles the hill all the way up to the top. The cemetery features tombstones made by local blacksmiths of that time and the still-preserved architectural monuments of Lithuania Minor – funerary sculptures (Lith. krikštas). A christening is among the most ancient forms of tombstones in Lithuania. The grave of the family of shipbuilder J. Gižas can be found in the Dreverna cemetery, which started attracting more attention a few years after the restoration of the ethnographic homestead of J. Gižas. A ship is carved on the shipbuilder’s monument.
