What is a ”singing” Tibetan bowl?
It is a powerful meditative tool. The bowls are made of a unique metal alloy consisting of seven to twelve different metals. According to ancient Tibetan traditions, seven metals correspond to seven planets: gold - the Sun, silver - the Moon, mercury - Mercury, copper - Venus, iron - Mars, tin - Jupiter, lead - Saturn.
”Singing” Tibetan bowls – a very old method of treatment that came from the East. However, there are also scientifically proven reasons why and how this treatment works.
Therapy of sounding bowls & cymbals (Ting Sha) is an excellent example of cooperation between Eastern & Western cultures. The homeland of the bowls – the Himalayan Mountains (Tibet, Nepal, North India) from there they spread to other Asian countries where they have been used in religious rites.
The meditation is led by Aušra Mendelė, Reiki practitioner, founder and owner of the well-being homestead "Karkelbeck No 409", practicing bowls for 10 years, organizing sound therapies in a group, family or individually.
