Embark on a journey through the world of radio at the authentic interwar radio station in Jakai! You will hear how vinyl and tape recorders sound, and tune into radio waves with a radio. Later, you will create your own radio program and assemble a comb orchestra. You will record the program on a cassette tape. A copy of the recording will remain as a memento for the class. Finally, the creative team will take a historical photo from the roof of the radio building, just as the Minister of Communications of the Republic of Lithuania and guests did 90 years ago. This educational activity is suitable for enriching music, history, and Lithuanian language lessons.

Have you ever heard a fairy tale from a vinyl record? During this educational activity, you will visit an old radio station, see radio receivers, tape recorders, and gramophones, and listen to the fairy tale "About the Brave Thrush." Afterwards, you will mold birds out of natural clay – whistles, one of the oldest musical instruments. While you work, the music of M.K. Čiurlionis will play in the background. Everyone will make a whistle, which they will try out and take home! This educational activity is suitable for enriching lessons on music, nature, the Lithuanian language, and technology.
