
The participants are introduced to the toys available to Lithuanian children between the two world wars, focusing on the Samogitian region, where the first toy production centres emerged, potters and woodcarvers, mostly god-carvers, moulded and carved figurative whistles, animal-shaped toys, continuing the old tradition of home-made toy production.
Children have the opportunity to make their own replica of a toy from that time.
During the education, students are introduced to the meaning and symbolism of coats of arms, learn what the coats of arms of the state, the president, districts and cities look like and what they mean. The coat of arms of Gargždai town and the history of its origin are also studied.
Participants keep a copy of the coat of arms of Gargždai as a keepsake.
Traditional Costumes of Samogitia and Lithuania Minor is an educational activity presenting two ethnographic regions - Samogitia and Lithuania Minor - and their traditional costumes. During the educational activity, pupils will learn what is characteristic of the regions of Žemaitija and Lesser Lithuania? What are the differences and similarities in the culture of these ethnographic regions? The traditional costumes are given special attention: what colours, patterns and details are typical? What was it that led to the fact that the clothing of the peasants of Lithuania Minor had such peculiarities that were not found in the clothing of the inhabitants of other Lithuanian regions? Why is the region sometimes divided into east and west in order to describe the clothing of the inhabitants of Samogitia?
This is a documentary-animated film about the life story of the director Giedre Beinorytė's grandparents who survived the exile to Siberia.
The film is made using photographs from her personal archive with animation and film inserts. The story is told interactively by a little girl who understands and imagines the events of those years in her own way.
After the screening of the film, the participants are invited to do a practical exercise.
An educational activity that invites visitors to travel back in time to a historical period of unprecedented intensive development of the Lithuanian state, seen as a unique historical opportunity that has been successfully used in all social and cultural spheres.
It is an introduction to the customs activities in interwar Lithuania, how the border protection was organised, and in this context the status and significance of the Gargždai customs in the wider Lithuanian context. It also presents the education system in interwar Lithuania and Gargždai, how work was organised, how schools were divided, who was in charge of schools, etc.
When Lithuania became an independent state in 1918, one of the most important tasks was the organisation of the Lithuanian Post Office. This was an important institution, as it was used to transmit news, pay salaries and send greetings every month. In this context, the pupils are introduced to the interwar Lithuanian postal system, including the Gargždai Post Office, the people who worked there and their daily routine.
Each visitor who takes part in the educational activity will take a postcard with an image of interwar Gargždai as a memory.
During the educational session, visitors are introduced to the most prominent historical, political and cultural personalities who lived, worked and created in Lithuania and the Klaipėda region between the wars and who became well-known not only in their native land, but also throughout Europe.
In the practical part of the session, each participant has the opportunity to identify the personalities, their works, works of art and thoughts in the game "Who is the author".
Every year, on the occasion of January 13, it is customary to recall historical events, to honour those who fought and died for freedom and independence, to look back and talk about the unity and cohesion of the people of that time.
At the same time, the defence of the right to independence is a reminder that we can be proud and happy for the efforts of all to defend and uphold our freedom.

Our history is rich in important, proud and noteworthy dates, but some of them are not just famous, but foundational, foundational. February 16th is such a day of great significance for every Lithuanian who knows and respects the past of his country. Thus, 16 February 1918, a fateful day for our present and future.
Therefore, the aim of this education is to present the 16th of February 1918. The significance of the Act of Independence of Lithuania and two important personalities connected with the Act - the first President of the Republic of Lithuania, the signatory of the Act of Independence, Antanas Smetona, and the first diplomat of the Republic of Lithuania, the signatory of the Act of Independence, who wrote the Act - Jurgis Šaulis.
In order to get to know the historical personalities better and to remember the significance of the Act of February 16th, the participants of the education divide into two teams - Antanas Smetona's and Jurgis Šaulis' - and, using the provided tools, creatively present the historical personality they represent, take part in a quiz, and compete for a prize.
11 of March is Independence Day, which commemorates the year 1990, when, for the first time since the Second World War, Lithuania's democratically elected Parliament declared an end to the 46-year second Soviet occupation.
During the educational session, the participants were introduced to the significance of March 11th for Lithuania, and were reminded once again of the most important values for human beings - freedom and independence.
The participants are divided into teams and perform the following tasks:
1) team introductions (name, motto, election of team captain),
2) illustrate the theme, for this task the teams have to illustrate the theme "Yellow, Green, Red".
Students are invited to take part in an orienteering activity in Gargždai City Park (former Barons Renys Garden). During the education, participants search for hidden treasure, which they find with the help of clues.
