The Dovilai quarries are a great place to spend your free time all year round. The quarries in Gargždai and Dovilai are very easy to reach not only by car, but also by bicycle.

A pontoon bridge has been installed at the quarry, benches have been set up, and a children's playground and gymnastics complex have been built. Those who want to take a walk and breathe in the fresh air can do so in the nearby pine forest. There is a unique music alley here, where not only children but also adults play music. A cozy path through the forest leads from the quarry to a recreation area, where an oak park dedicated to the centenary of the state has been planted next to a huge outdoor roller coaster. Nearby, there is a children's playground, a square for roller skaters and skateboarders, and a dog walking area.

The Dovilai quarries are a particularly popular swimming spot. There is a public sauna here, and in summer you can go water biking.
