18. Priekule railway station building complex

It is one of the most authentic and impressive sites in the historical ethno-cultural region of Lithuania Minor.  After the construction of the Tilžė-Šilutė-Klaipėda railway line, a complex of buildings was constructed in 1875, away from the centre of Priekulė: the railway station building, the railway workers' house, the water tower with an extension, a warehouse and outbuildings.  The complex of buildings, made of solid red brick, with German architecture and eclectic style, has been entered in the Register of Cultural Heritage. Four of the seven buildings are the best preserved. Before the war, 4 shuttle trains from Klaipėda to Tilžė passed through Priekulė. And now you can travel through Lithuania Minor on the route Klaipėda - Priekulė - Šilutė.
