We take off and descend in a meadow on the edge of the Dreverna Harbour. Towing of the motorless paraglider is done by boat or car. We use towing equipment certified in Germany. After take-off we unhook from the rope and start the free flight.

The paraglider is piloted by a licensed instructor and the passenger sits in the front seat. The flight equipment is tested and certified, radio communication is maintained, the pilot-passenger tandem has a spare parachute, and life jackets are worn. Take-offs are coordinated with the Palanga Air Control Tower. The passenger shall be seated in the front suspension and strapped in. The harness prevents falling out and the weight of the body is supported by a hammock type seat, making it very comfortable to sit back and enjoy the view.

At take-off, the passenger is asked to take a few steps to escape and not to stumble, the rest is done by the pilot. Comfortable shoes and a few minutes of concentration are important here.

Flights take place on weekends between June and September when the wind does not exceed 6 m/s. You can register the day before the flight and we will give you an exact time. It is important to wear comfortable, non-marking footwear to prepare. It is usually 3-5 degrees cooler and windy at altitudes of 700-1000 and we recommend you dress accordingly. The pre-flight briefing is 15 minutes.
